Getting started
As part of a Machine Vision
course by Rein van den Boomgaard
of the University of Amsterdam an assignment was created which uses the Voxel
Coloring Framework. This assignment is a step-by-step guide on how to do voxel
coloring.
The assignment text can be found here
and the corresponding special build of the framework here.
If you are not a student and do not want to implement the missing parts of the
framework yourself, you should download the full version of the framework and
use that version of the voxelcolor.dll
file.
Last update to the assignment: version 1.2, October 31st, 2004
Note: the order of X and Y to give to the calibrate_sequence script
in the assignment is (possibly) incorrect. Also, your .dataset file should contain
the number of the first image in your dataset, it is rather unclear this
is meant as the example contains "40", while "1" would have
been much clearer. This will be fixed in a future version.
